29th Annual Illumination Ceremony | Grand Geneva – Lake Geneva, WI
On Sunday, November 19, 2023, the local community and resort guests are invited to join in the commencement of the annual six-week “Christmas in the Country Celebration.” The event kicks off with the illumination of over two million twinkling lights across the resort, accompanied by a breathtaking fireworks display. Attendees can meander through the resort, absorbing the enchanting holiday ambiance, and explore the charming Gingerbread House Walk. For the younger ones, there will be a variety of activities, a special visit from Santa Claus, and the delightful treats of holiday cookies and hot apple cider.
The festivities will commence at 4:30 pm, with the opportunity for photos with Santa in the Evergreen Ballroom. The main highlight of the evening will be the grand countdown at approximately 6 pm, where all are encouraged to gather around the towering Christmas tree for the much-anticipated lighting of the holiday lights and the ensuing fireworks show.
As part of this heartwarming celebration, it is kindly requested that all attendees, both guests and community members, bring a new, unwrapped toy to contribute to the support of those in need within the local community. This event promises to be a delightful start to the holiday season, fostering a sense of unity and generosity.
Santa’s Landing at The Abbey | The Abbey Resort, Fontana, WI
Everyone is invited to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season when Santa Claus lands at The Abbey Resort. Enjoy holiday music, fresh cookies, hot chocolate, and photos with the jolly old elf himself against a lakeside backdrop.

4th Annual Let it Glow | Elkhorn, WI
A free holiday festival on the Walworth County Fairgrounds Dec. 1st -3rd, 2023. This whimsical light show showcasing area nonprofits, commercial and community built displays includes Balsam Boulevard, Santa, and so much more. Make Let It Glow a part of your holiday festivities and enjoy fun for all ages!
Businesses, families and nonprofits are invited to decorate a tree or build a Glow Display at Let It Glow! Highlight who you are and what you do in our community during this three day drive-thru event!
